In this time there has been a gradual but increasing recognition of the benefits of external wall insulation as a simple, effective and cost efficient method of insulating the walls of new and existing buildings to ever higher standards. Iain MacDonald, one of the founders of Sto in the UK and current Managing Director, has been involved with all major developments in external wall insulation in the UK and is a keen advocate of Passive House principles.
